Maranatha is always in the process of upgrading and redeveloping our facilities. We maintain a list of desired capital projects whose funding depends on gifts from generous friends. Several of our top projects are listed below.
Capital Projects
- Gravel for roads
- Tin for re-roofing hogans
- Outdoor education equipment
- New canoes and recreational kayaks
- Donations towards remodeling our existing cabins and lodges
- Shrubbery, landscaping for labyrinth area
- Backfill for the lagoon to prepare for use as sports activity area
Additional Items Needed For Camp
- New sauce pans and pots for Lakeside kitchen
- Washer and dryer (gently used)
- Clock radios with alarm
- Trial size/samples of shampoo, conditioner, deodorant
toothbrushes, toothpaste
- Towels, washclothes
- Sleeping bags
- 8 Box fans 21.5" for use in the hogans
Endowment Program
Maranatha is also in the process of developing an endowment program that will provide on-going funding for other capital improvements, equipment repair/replacement, new youth and adult programs, scholarships, and the establishment of an outdoor education program.
