       Welcome

Maranatha Camp and Conference Center is a year-round Camp and Conference Center, operated as a ministry of the North Alabama Presbytery. Maranatha’s 150 acres are nestled between the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains and beautiful Lake Guntersville in historic Jackson County, Alabama. Signs of the old Scottsboro to Arab wagon trail can still be found along the hiking trail that follows Backbone Ridge. Visitors may catch glimpses of song birds, deer, and an occasional fox throughout the year.
Maranatha Camp and Conference Center offers serenity and a place to connect with God while enjoying His beautiful creation.

Maranatha welcomes a variety of groups including churches, non-profit organizations, family reunions, educational as well as business, and civic groups. It is a pleasure to share Maranatha with you. We hope that your group will enjoy our facilities and hospitality.

Maranatha Camp and Conference Center welcomes persons of every race, gender, creed, religion, and national origin.

Mission Statement: Maranatha welcomes all God’s children to grow and be renewed in communion with nature, each other, and the Spirit of the Living Christ.
